This reiki pendant has an attractive sculptural look in its treatment of the 'coil', which symbolizes the body's flow of qi, or energy. The coil can either expand with an increase in qi or contract with a decrease. Here the coil is given a slight inward-sloping twist, wider at its outermost point and gradually tapering to a thin edge at its center.

This pendant made entirely by hand, using a combination of techniques involving wax carving and metal clay silver and is polished both by hand and with small tools.
